Part-Time Instructor, Nurse Assistant Clinical Instructor

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

Instruct students in the required 24 hours supervised clinical in a residential health care facility following the state's Department of Public Health, Division of Health Care Quality guidelines for Nurse Assistant.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Instruct students at the off-site clinical.
Coordinate with clinical site times, patient assignment, and duties
Assess & record students regarding skills competencies
Adhere to DPH clinical requirements

Job Requirements:

Registered Nurse
Current Massachusetts RN license
At least two years nursing experience
At least one year of experience providing long-term care services
Strong interpersonal skills.
Communication skills that demonstrate sensitivity to adult learners, non-native English speakers, and diversely prepared students. Bilingual skills a plus.
Experience with post-secondary learning programs.
Teaching or training Nurse Assistant experience preferred.
Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or a National background check as a condition of employment.

Additional Information:
SALARY: $50.00/hr.
